I was kinda nervous I’d never taken a plan B I am 280 pounds have factor V Leiden. I used it 4-5 weeks ago I took it not even an hour right after due to an accident I had. purchased this in advance just for emergencies. I know it says no weight limit but know some medications effectiveness can be different based on someone weight and factor v I’m limited in what I can take as a contraceptive. I did have some slight side effects but nothing major I just took some pain relief when needed and rest which helped. I did take pregnancy test came back negative the odd thing though it did push back my period by a week but it did come so both good signs. I did also use spermicide before hand as well its less effective alone but is suggested to be paired with other contraceptives for more successful prevention.

The Side Effects

Every body is different and their body acts differently to medication, it’s a plan b pill so it’s meant to prevent a child if you have unprotected boom boom, but I will never take this pill again I had the worst week of my life after taking it. I felt dizzy and confused, then I felt lethargic and had a fever, couldn’t eat, couldn’t sleep. At the tail end of the week, if I even ate a piece of bread 10 min later I would be in the bathroom with uncontrollable diarrhea. I think I went to the bathroom 30 times in one night into the AM, I had to cancel my plans the next day. I drank Powerade and slept and pooped for 2 days. Like I said everyone’s body is different but the side effects took me out. I would never take it again.

It works

It works IF USED CAREFULLY. MAY NOT WORK during ovulation(common sense) so all the pregnant people commenting either didn’t use it right or took the pill TOO late. To each their own body but ladies rather to be safe than sorry. I will say this though, anytime you are active YOU ARE at risk of pregnancy, so be wise! Now you may say “why just us it takes two” bc should be in CONTROL of our own bodies. So next time you don’t want to use protection….keep this in your mind & ask yourself if you’d like 10 min of pleasure or $50 out of your pocket…YOUR CHOICE.

VERY Disappointed! Did Not Work as Promised

I took Plan B exactly one day after intercourse well within the recommended 72-hour window and it still did not work. I followed all instructions carefully and expected it to prevent pregnancy as advertised, but unfortunately, it failed. It’s incredibly upsetting and stressful to rely on something that’s supposed to offer peace of mind only for it not to work. I wish there was clearer information about how often this happens and what factors can cause it to fail.

I wished I known about the good rx/needy meds discounts. Could have bought it cheaper. But anyway, I took mine like 27 hours after the hanky panky. 🫣 -Side effects From some reddit/pregnancy centere reviews. Some women said they had some spotting or period came early/late. Other's stated no symptoms at all. The only side effects I had, were exteame fatigue for two days. I'm talking feeling like I had been drugged! Couldn't even keep my head up, I was so sleepy/tired. But that 3rd day evening/night, I felt like myself. 👍🏻 My period is supposed to start next week, so... If it doesn't come, I'll take a PT. If it's late, then I'm cool with that. Wish me luck ladies! 🤞🏻

Not too bad!!

This is my first time taking plan b before! I wanted to be on the safe side a much as I could be for the circumstances so I took it before the 72 hr mark. Side effects for me was slight dizziness and cramping, which is listed as a few side effects. 10/10 if you need it in a pinch! Ill update my review once my cycle arrives which should be anytime!

47yrs old

I bought this Plan B because my husband wasn’t careful and I knew I had couple of days before I start ovulating which makes it less likely to get pregnant. I was alittle concern that it would effect my hormones n period, Thank God! I got my period and it was normal, I had taken this brand when I was a lot young and it work good didn’t give me any side effects. This time around I did feel some cramping and sensitive nipples but other than that I’m very satisfied and willing to pay the price. Only 1 pill you take also.

Not pregnant!

I took it within 4 hours and it worked like a charm. I’m on the petite size 110 lbs. My period came 5 days sooner and a little heavier than normal. Overall great product. Make sure you check the label before purchasing to see which one is best for you based on weight. Be aware of your menstrual cycle dates when you’re more prone to becoming pregnant!

Satisfied!!

I bought this 2 weeks ago after having an accident with my boyfriend. The condom broke and I didn’t know if he had finished so as a precaution I took this immediately after the deed was done. Thoses who say doesn’t work on ovulation is wrong I was ovulating the day after the full ovulation and I didn’t get pregnant. I am sooo happy with the result as I was not ready for parenthood. I ended up getting my period 1 week and 3 days after I took the pill. The only thing effect I had was fatigue, sleepness and a bit of weakness. But overall I am soooo SATISFIED with this product. If you are unsure of taking it after any incident dont hesitate take it just in case you won’t regret it. Take it ASAP don’t wait.

Easy, Simple, and Right on Time

Took the next following morning as direct, felt heavy cramping/ discomfort within a couple of hours but eased as the day went on. Period came on time as my tracker predicted. 10/10 would buy if ever needed again.

If taken correctly it works

Take ASAP, even the same night if possible it works better the earlier you take it. The protection we used slipped off and yk, so to be sure I took plan B an hour later. Not pregnant!! Got a birth control IUD the next month. Recommend the Kyleena IUD, doesn’t hurt too bad, lasts 5 years, and barely any hormone!

Girl let me tell you this has saved my butt so many time and still is!!! It’s cost a lot but this works it really dose! Now the packaging it pretty hard to get open but you get the pill. As for side effects well you do feel them I get the tiredness and the abdominal discomfort and off days on my cycle. It’s all effective you feel it works no doubt!

Horrible side effects

I've taken plan b on several occasions and this one has honestly been the worst with side effects. Day after taking it for about 5 days I was super nauseous, sore breasts, horrible acne, tired, metallic taste in mouth, white (not yeast) discharge, mood/emotional swings. YOU WILL FEEL PREGNANT! I took this the day after and I was ovulating and it worked. Last time I did that and it didnt because i waited till the 3rd day to take it and his swimmers and my egg were quick. The side effects this time were just brutal and I'm def getting on birth control now. Cycle came on time and is super heavy with horrible cramps. It works when you take it right away!

Worked, I guess

I messed up tracking my ovulation and had UPS with my husband the night before i ovulated. I ran out first thing in the morning and grabbed this as soon as i realized what I'd done. I honestly didnt think it would work because I was already ovulating. I'm sure I was ovulating because i took an ovulation test as well. I had zero side effects and was convinced I was pregnant. This pill isnt supposed to help your cause if you're already ovulating. But my period came 4 days early and was a normal period. I would absolultely recommend and wouldnt hesitate to take again if I ever thought I needed it. I dont know if it helped or if I just didnt get pregnant because I didnt get pregnant, but it certainly didnt hurt.

it worked exactly as it’s intended to! I didn’t experience any side effects or any issues! as long as you’re taking it as directed and following weight restrictions and not ovulating it will work for you!

It works

I promised myself that if I got my period i’d write a review. Our condom broke while he was inside of me, and we immediately rushed to the drug store, took it within 30 mins and my period came a few weeks later. Girl, don’t stress, stay calm, this really does work if you take it within the recommended time frame. I still would recommend having a pregnancy test on hand to take incase your period is late since Plan B can delay menstruation but just to be safe.

Safe %26effective - to be used as backup only

Safe, effective emergency contraceptive to use if condom breaks ors you miss a pill on your actual birth control. Please use protection as the plan B is just that, a back up plan..,Should not be used regularly in place of actual birth control. Only for those ops moments.

If over 155lbs or a BMI 30 or higher...

Plan B may be less effective. If you are already ovulating this pill will not work. Let's get into it. Some sources say it's less effective if you are 165 to 175lbs. Above that weight the effectiveness is slim to none. And if your BMI is higher than 30 effectiveness is slim to none. Major takeaway if you are a larger person the effectiveness drops. Please get information about things like this before you are in a sticky situation. I thought you might want to know this.

Great product

Made a mistake on my most fertile day I took it first thing in the morning. And I got my periods today so it worked. The price is pretty hefty though but I would say it works if used asap.

WORKS on people who follow instructions

Ladies, a lot of you sound disappointed with this product because you still ended up with a pregnancy this is not a birth control method if you are not trying to conceive be smarter and get on proper birth control or something lol be disappointed in yourself for not taking better precautions. It will most likely not work if you’re ovulating or if you’re over BMI, something yourself should be aware of when that’s occurring.

Highly recommend

This bad boy has never let me down 10/10 recommend (by the way it’s just supposed to reduce the chance of you getting pregnant by delaying/stopping ovulation) and me personally I haven’t gotten any of the symptoms except for nausea. ALSO I CAN NOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH CHECK THE WEIGHT LIMIT!!! Save your $50 if you’re over and try something stronger like “Take Action” which has a higher weight limit

Works

Worked great. Made me feel emotional and like I was severely PMSing, but I got my period 3 days earlier than expected and it was like usual. Symptoms immediately subsided and I feel fine and normal.

Recommend

I dont know why people say it didnt work for them! It worked for me a lot of times! I been using plan b pill for 3 years , i dont like birth control thats why i use this in the emergency only! It does have side effects one of them it gave acne, and probably in the future too some risks ! But it works well for me, if you want best results take it next morning, dont wait 3 days or 4 days, just take it next day and it will work for you!

Wife took Plan B and is Pregnant

Wife took Plan B about 48hrs after our “accident”. The 48 hour delay was due to us traveling home from vacation, and is well with in the supposed 72 hour efficacy window. Fast forward two weeks, she is late and tests positive for pregnancy. This will be our first and we are very upset about the timing. Do not trust this product.

Worked-200+ lbs

Took this pill a day after the condom slipped after he came 3 days before ovulation. I was afraid since I am 200 pounds that it would have no effect on my body however my period came 6 days early. Definitely take it ASAP within the window and it doesnt hurt to try if you are past the 170 lb effectiveness.

Didn't Work

I took this within four hours after unprotected sex. A week after, my boobs were sore, unlike how they are when I'm on my period, and my partner got me pregnant before on the first try so I took a test because I had doubt that the pill worked. And I ended up being correct...and pregnant. Guess I got pregnant within four hours after sex.

PLAN B ONLY WORKS IF YOURE NOT OVULATING!!! emeegency contraceptive works by pushing off ovulation so if youre already ovulating it will not work. plan b works great but if youre already ovulating theres no reason to even take it. i only left a 1 star review so anyone who didnt like the effects would be educated

I've used this product multiple times over the last 1.5 decades and have never had a pregnancy. I'm glad regulations have changed and that you no longer need to speak with a pharmacist to access this medication. Also, the price of it has decreased since the first time I've used it, making it more accessible for people.

AMAZING!

I had unprotected sex 3 days before i ovulated and my bf finished inside me. I didnt think much of it cause i thought i ovulated in the next week, i checked and i was gonna ovulate the next day so i rushed to go get a plan b. I took it 2 days after unprotected sex and it still worked. I got my period 5 days later. Never been so happy to get my period!

Not always effective

Well…. I took the pill a couple hours after but….. just remember that it’s not 100% and I just so happen to fall in that low percent when it doesn’t work. Not trying to scare anyone just being honest. Just keep in mind it’s not always 100% effective

Works perfect! Even at 230lbs

I am 39 and have used this twice and it has worked both times. I took this within 10 hours of having an issues and my period came right on time. I am also 230lbs and it still worked. Worth the money if you have an accident!

Pregnant

Took about 12 hours after the oopsie and now pregnant. Fyi it don’t wrk if you already ovulated ladies. I knew there was a chance it was too late for me 🤷🏻♀️
