- Transeal® transparent wound dressings are created using a polyurethane film coated with an acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive that acts like a second skin, controlling the environment in which the wound will heal
- Transeal® is highly permeable to gases and moisture vapor, allowing the skin to breathe and moisture to transmit from the site, but is impermeable to water and bacteria
- Consequently, external contaminants are prevented from reaching the wound site
- Indicated for: Vascular access sites (I.V. and C.V.C), first and second degree burns, dermal sites, superficial wounds, surgical incisions, lacerations and abrasions, donor sites
