just got this chair. It is built like a brick shit house great engineering now look at the video demonstration and imagine your a man you cannot do a #1 or a # 2 without peeing on the floor in front of you unless you put this commode in the yard , this commode is good for the ladies ! and now i am stuck with it!

Much better than a regular commode! Worth it!
This commode worked out perfectly for me. As I have had extensive knee surgeries in both knees and a broken hip and I have problems with rising from a seated position. Can't praise the design enough and love the padded seat! The only precaution is to be careful upon rising because it can raise you up on two different levels. The only design flaw I can speak of, is the actual commode bucket. It could have been designed better for ease of emptying, it is too easy to lose balance of bucket because it doesn't have a bucket handle on it!

The seat tilting does help in getting up from the chair, but the legs are too long. I am going to have the legs shortened. The real only con, I think it's a little pricey.

Toilet seat released without pressing red clip button and created a hazard with elevating seat without wanting seat to be released. Not stable
