The BestStand SA228 is an affordable sit-to-stand patient lift. It is a compact and easily maneuvered product to lift and transport anyone 500lbs or under. It has a low base height of 4.9" which is ideal for sliding under most furniture or chair needed. Using a foot pedal, the base can easily open up to allow wheelchair or toilet entrance.

Residential home use—This Bestcare lift is without doubt the best unit.
In our home setting there are areas that are a tight fit. This lift does the job that I was seeking for its intended purpose. The only thing that would be nice is a strap for the knee pad when patient is less ambulatory due to loss of muscle during long term in-patient hospital stays and back home. My back surgeries prohibit me from doing the manual lifting. It has been a blessing to have this lift in my house to care for my loved one of many years.

My husband is not able to stand. The only thing I'll take into consideration before buying this product is the arm strength of the person who will be using it but this is an excellent product.
