- Closed system transfer of urine eliminates the need for pouring and thus avoids spills
- Works with most vacuum urine tubes
- Includes temperature strip to help prevent adulteration
- Needle is fixed to transfer device for healthcare staff and patient safety
- Features a patient safety label which covers the fixed needle and warns users against improper usage to avoid injury
- The integrated transfer device is recessed approximately 21 mm to help protect against injury
- Has graduation marks in fl oz up to 4 (increments of 0.5 fl oz) and also mL up to 110 (in increments of 10)
- Has a frosted panel for patient information containing the following fields: Name, Room No, Doctor, Date, Time
- Sterile, individually bagged
- Due to the dead space in the cup, a small amount of urine will be unavailable in the cup resting on a flat surface; the cup may be tilted to fill the tube, thus yielding more of the urine specimen
