- Peptide-based nutritionally complete very high protein formula (37%) with peptides from 100% whey protein, 50% of fat from MCT with added EPA and DHA and lower carbohydrate content; designed to support improved formula tolerance and successful enteral feeding in patients with impaired GI function and/or high protein requirements
- Carbohydrate level to help support the nutritional management of blood glucose
- Unique protein to calorie ratio specifically designed to help meet the protein requirements of the critically ill with obesity, recommended in the Critical Care Guidelines
- Enzymatically hydrolyzed, 100% whey protein may facilitate gastric emptying
- 4 g/L PREBIO¹™ soluble fiber blend helps promote the growth of beneficial bacteria to help support digestive health
- Nutritional applications: Acutely ill obese (BMI >30), impaired GI function (pancreatitis, malabsorption, malnutrition), elevated protein requirements, mechanically ventilated critically ill patients, IV sedated patients, blood glucose management, critical illness with GI impairment, (sepsis, inflammatory conditions), early enteral feeding
